Got questions? We've got answers.
Will this start my battery if it's completely flat?
Yes! Our jump starter delivers up to 3000A peak current, powerful enough to start even a dead battery... without needing another vehicle to assist, and all by yourself.
What size engines will this start?
With 3000A burst of power, the
unit generates sufficient current to jump-start petrol engines up to 6.0L and
diesel engines up to 4.0L
How many times can it jump start a car on a single charge?
When fully charged, this unit can jump-start a car 3-4 times, depending on the
engine size.
If it is left for a long time without charging, it would be less. Therefore, we recommend you charge the unit fully every 3 months. You can do this in the car, while you are driving, just like you charge your phone while driving.
Is it safe for absolute beginners to use?
Absolutely! - this unit is perfect for beginners! No specialist car knowledge is required, and the unit comes with an Easy-Peasy Instruction Card for how to jump-start your car, and how to pump tyres (in
addition to the more detailed manufacturers’ User Manual).
There is also a QE code link to videos showing you exactly how to do it.
Will it damage my car if I connect it wrong?
No, your car is safe!
The unit is equipped with a smart clip, so if you connect the clamps to the wrong battery electrodes, if will not damage your battery or car.
If it is connected in reverse, the unit will make a noise to alert you. Simply reattach to the correct electrodes in the correct order.
The order is:
- First: Red clamp to positive electrode
- Second: Black clamp to negative electrode.
Can it inflate car, bike, and trailer tyres?
Yes, this pump function can be used to pump up all sort of tyres, with a pressure up to 10.3BAR/150PSI (which is more than any tyre we know of!).
How long does it take to inflate a flat tyre?
That will depend on how flat your tyre is!
A tyre that is too flat to drive on will take
about 4-5 minutes.
A tyre that is soft
(low pressure) will take up to 4 minutes.
A completely empty tyre, starting from empty, may take 8-10minutes.
After 10min of continuous pumping, you should give the unit a 15min break to cool down before recommencing pumping.
Does it shut off automatically when the tyre is full?
Yes, the pump will automatically stop pumping once the pre-entered
pressure is reached.
The default pressure is 2.5BAR/36PSI, which is suitable for car tyres. You can adjust this pressure to whatever you desire, up to 10.3BAR/150PSI, and the unit will automatically turn off at the pressure you set.
Can I use it to inflate air mattresses, balls, or camping gear?
You can use the additional nozzels to inflate sports balls that require significant pressure, such as soccer balls, volleyballs and footballs.
However, as the unit is designed for high pressure use, it will not preform well on larger inflatables with lower pressure requirements, such as air mattresses.
Can I charge my phone or tablet with it?
Yes, you can use the USB-C outlet for charging portable electronic devices such as phones and tablets.
How long does it take to fully charge the device?
The initial charge may take up to 3 hours, and subsequent top-up charges will be significantly shorter, depending on how often you have used the device and the length of time since it was last recharged.
How do I recharge the unit?
Recharge the unit using the USB-C cable that comes in the case, either in a power outlet that has a USB-C port, or use a plug-in power adapter with a USB-C port.
Does it come with charging cables?
Yes, the unit comes with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable. This cable can also be used to charge devices.
How do I know when it’s fully charged?
When fully charged, the battery indicator show full as 3 bars, and will be steady (not flashing) when plugged in.
How long does it hold its charge in storage?
The unit will hold charge for up to 6 months at a time. However, the longer between charges the less power it will be able to give you when you need it.
As this device is designed to get you out of
emergency situations, which are unpredictable in nature, we recommend you charge it every 3 months to ensure it will be ready for you when you need it.
Is it safe to keep in my car?
Yes, that is exactly what it is built for! The unit is designed to withstand high and low
temperatures (-20°C to 60°C) and stay safe while stored in your car.
When storing in your car, the best place to store it is out of direct sunlight, such as under your car seat or tucked away in your boot. Do not leave it where it will be exposed to extreme temperatures, such as on the dashboard or parcel shelf in your car.

The units are quality checked, packed and shipped from our premises in regional Southeast Queensland.
Where is the unit manufactured?
The unit is manufactured in China. Our manufacturer has been specialising in research design and manufacture of high-quality car electronics for almost 10 years. As an Australian business, we would LOVE to have an Australian built product. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a
manufacturer in Australia for non-industrial car jump starters.
